We’re in the midst of a digital revolution; a cyclone of sorts that has shifted our attention from pens and papers to keyboards and monitors. In our opinion, technology rests, and always will, on good design. Inherently, the two have the same purpose – to make our lives easier, fuller and undeniably faster. We’re all now, willingly or unwillingly, part of a technological shift that’s brought us closer to the future (and the galaxy!) than we’d ever imagined.

We wanted to open up this conversation about where we’re headed, what role design will play for us in the years to come, and how to accommodate it in our lives, to you. To lay down the crux, we spoke to industrial designer and innovator Yves Béhar, all the way across the world, in San Francisco. His devices are simple, although the problems they solve are anything but. His designs are meticulously crafted and result in products that will make you wonder how you ever got along without them!

Our residential and commercial features are rich in innovation too, but that of a different kind. Materials take on new meanings, and when paired with natural elements, become a lot more grounded and contextual. A great contrast to the futuristic wave we’re grappling with.
