New Year's Eve is a day of mixed feelings. On one hand, it is a time to celebrate the end of the year gone by and welcome what is in store in the New Year. On the other hand, it also gives a sense of nostalgia as it reflects the events that took place in the past twelve-months.
Dalai Lama said, “There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called Yesterday and the other is called Tomorrow. So, Today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live.”
May this New Year bring happiness and delights to everyone’s life.
In this issue we feature interior architecture projects that in their own ways pay attention to aesthetics, elegance and tradition.
The design of ‘Fusion House’ in Pune by Ar. Sunil Patil & Ar. Anuja Pandit of ‘Sunil Patil and Associates’ is based on their design philosophy, contemporary vernacular architecture. It incorporates vernacular ethos and features like courtyards, stone masonry in a highly contemporary style.
Russian interior designer Ar. Ekaterina Lashmanova designed this stylish apartment in Moscow, more than a house with contemporary touch. She created an inspiring and iconic place to live in.
Ar. Harsh Boghani of ‘THE CROSSBOUNDARIES’ gave a novel identity to Work Better's office space by creating a distinctive design with emphasis on creating an young and dynamic, yet sophisticated and functional office space with a pinch of greens.
The design of this home ‘Nest’ in Bhilai by designer duo Ar. Ruchi & ID Amit Seth of ‘A. R. Architects’ is based on fulfilling the needs and dreams of the client, looks at integrating elements of traditional Indian typology in a contemporary way.
The young and talented designer Namrata Tejwani has again surpassed her own potential of designing a Majestic Farm House at Amleshwar in Raipur by creating a living space of today while retaining the functionality at its best.
