This New Year Special issue of Kadambini is focused on Malayalam literature and culture of Kerala state with many features on its classical dances-Kathakali & Mohiniyattam, films, festivals, tourism and recipe. An detailed interview of Dr. Satchidanandan, an eminent poet of both Malayalam and English language with Dr. Iti Samanta is special attraction of the issue. The critical essays on Malayalam novel, short stories and poetry written by original authors like Dr. K. Satchidanandan, Dr. Thankamani Amma, Dr. Bindu R. and Dr. S. Leelakumari Amma gives a an in-depth glance to the readers. A feature on the Moortidevi Award 2016, the recipient Mr. M.P.
