June is the month dedicated to the Sacred Heart and in a very insightful article Fr Shane Crombie delves deeply into what this lovely devotion really entails. Fr Crombie is also the subject of our Supporters Page where he writes fondly about how his grandparents fostered his faith. Praised as an ‘Angel of Kindness’ for her deeds of love in the face of brutal inhumanity she gave her life helping others. Her story stands in stark contrast to the arrogance of the man who caused it all, Adolf Hitler, the subject of It Happened this Month. Read about his first and last visit to Paris in the guise of tourist and conqueror. In Echoes Patricia Hope writes about the evolution of the Zoo which has thankfully become more about the welfare of the animals than the entertainment of the idle rich.
