Welcome to issue 108 of The GameOn Magazine! As I write this in GameOn Towers, gamescom has been and gone, but EGX is mere days away! What does that mean for you? It means that you’ve got some gamescom previews to read, and can look forward to some coverage from EGX in a month’s time! First up are our selection of articles, including a Short Thought from James, Owen telling us more of the best weapons in Monster Hunter World and a look at Dead By Daylight’s The Spirit from Luke. Ethan also wonders where Medal of Honor has gotten to, Olly ranks some CoD maps and I played literally every Spider-Man videogame to tell you which are the best on every platform ever. There’s over 100, just FYI. Next, we have an interview with Yasuyuki Oda, the producer for SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy. We sat down with him months ago, but since the game has just been released, we figured this was a better place to put it. Then we’ve got some of those lovely gamescom previews from Elisa, Gary and James. There’s Life is Strange 2, Call of Cthulhu and Devil May Cry 5 amongst others, and James even took the time to play Fear The Wolves a bunch when it entered Early Access. Finally, because we’re already running low on room for this editorial, we have a bunch of reviews. Olly made Earthfall, Elisa went out in the Gene Rain and James spilled his Guts and Glory. Meanwhile, Gary sang The Lion’s Song, Thomas joined the Yakuza Kiwami 2, and (since we have an interview with the producer) Simon fought his way through SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy.
