MANAGER David Hughes insists that Huw Jenkins is “totally committed” to Newport County after fans chanted for the chairman to leave the club during Saturday's home defeat by Swindon Town.

Hughes's own position is in doubt after a 10th defeat in 11 games resulted in County dropping to the bottom of the League Two table.
Former Wrexham striker Ollie Palmer flicked in the only goal of the game in the 10th minute at Rodney Parade and some supporters chanted “We want Jenkins out” and “We want our club back” during and after the match.
Asked about the fans’ criticism of Jenkins, Hughes said: “He's totally committed. I had an hour with him yesterday (Friday) discussing what we had, what we thought their threats were and how we were looking to try to play.
