Following the resounding victory of NDA in the Bihar assembly elections, buzz has once again intensified within the Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party regarding a new state president and a possible ministry expansion of the Yogi Adityanath government.
According to BJP sources told 'The Statesman' here on Saturday that the central leadership is expected to announce the name of the state president soon, following the party's impressive success in the Bihar Assembly elections.
Sources said that following the formation of the BJP-led NDA government in Bihar with a landslide majority, a phase of major organisational changes will now begin in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP high command is expected to appoint a new state president by December, along with the second expansion of the Yogi 2.0 cabinet.
