Ganjam Will Be Center of Green Hydrogen and Chemical Industries: CM Majhi

Ganjam district will create a new benchmark in industrialization with investments in green hydrogen, chemicals and renewable energy, said CM Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday while laying the foundation stone for 12 industries in Chhatrapur with a total investment of Rs 28,000 crore.

Asserting that his government has achieved great success in attracting investments, the CM said recently industrial investments worth Rs 70,000 was done in Kalinga Nagar, Jajpur; yesterday foundation stone for Rs 50,000 crore investments worth projects was laid in Dhenkanal. In 5 months, we have invested a capital of Rs 1.5 lakh crore which will create about 90,000 jobs, he said.

"We are developing port-based industries and in addition to three existing ports, another three to four will also be established. The railways is investing around Rs 1 lakh crore while 75,000 km of roads are to be built signaling the infrastructure that is being developed by the double engine government," he said.
