This comes after one suspect was shot dead and another was arrested by police in Cosmo City, north of Johannesburg, on Saturday.

Moyo is wanted in connection with the killing of two police officers in Roodepoort, Gauteng, on Friday, August 8. He allegedly shot dead the two officers from a trio task team while they were transporting him back to Boksburg Prison following a court appearance.

Gauteng police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo, said police foiled a planned business robbery after officers received information that suspects were preparing to target businesses in the Honeydew and Fairlands areas.
