MMDA Begins Issuing Notices vs NCAP Violators

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has started sending out notices to motorists recorded on camera violating the no-contact apprehension policy or NCAP.

In an advisory posted on its Facebook page, the MMDA said the traffic violations were thoroughly reviewed before the notices were issued.

"The MMDA has started sending notices of violation to those confirmed to have violated the NCAP," the agency said.

The MMDA motorcycle unit has been delivering the notices to the addresses of vehicle owners within Metro Manila, as listed in the Land Transportation Office's database.
