Yet another bridge collapse in Bihar, this time in Tejashwi's Vaishali dist

THERE seems no end to the incidents of bridge collapse in Bihar as a small bridge fell down in Vaishali district.

It is the 15th incident of bridge collapse in Bihar since June this year. The brick bridge, built around 20 years ago, is near a plus 2 school under former deputy chief minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav's assembly constituency in Vaiashali district late night on Friday.

Ironically, the bridge was built when Tejashwi's mother mother Rabri Devi was the chief minister of the state. A senior district administrative official claimed that the bridge was washed away by the strong current of Ganga river as the river was in spate following heavy showers in the area in the last few days.
