National meet of farmer outfit ends with call to people to take part in May 20 strike

THE three-day national conference of the All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) which concluded in Nagapattinam on Thursday called for farmers to join the nationwide general strike called by the central trade unions on May 20 against the "anti-people policies of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Union government".
