ADM reviews preparedness ahead of Makaravilakku

A TOTAL of 40.9 lakh pilgrims have visited the Lord Ayyappa temple in Sabarimala since the beginning of the annual pilgrimage season, ADM Arun S Nair said.
He said the inflow of pilgrims was on average 90,000 daily, while most of the days the count reached over 1 lakh.
"With the Makaravilakku festival just six days away, an unprecedented crowd reached the hill shrine. Even if there are more devotees, authorities are all set for a smooth and safe darshan," he said.
