While doctors from private hospitals protesting against the bill observed a complete boycott of work through a 'Mahaband' across the state on Wednesday, many doctors and teachers from government hospitals also decided to boycott work in support. Over 14,000 serving government doctors, over 1,500 medical teachers and over 4,000 resident doctors boycotted work on Wednesday for 24 hours.
