LIVE SHOPPING SEES PAIR BRING IN '£30-40K' A MONTH

A PLYMOUTH couple have become one of the UK’s ‘most compelling’ examples of a new shopping trend.

The rise of a new kind of live shopping is creating a ‘new kind of retailer, described as ‘part entrepreneur, part entertainer’ and one local pair are now ‘bringing in between £30,000 - £40,000 every month’

What began as small side hustles are becoming full-time careers, fuelled by personality, community and the power of social-first retail, this form of selling has been dubbed the “next-gen QVC”.

Plymouth couple Jon-Luc Greenwood, aged 26, and Charlotte Williams, aged 27, joined Whatnot in 2023 - and turned their hobby into a thriving business.

The couple met each other initially via their YouTube channels in 2020. Now they've said 'Whatnot has changed our lives' and the pair have just secured their first home, this 'would have been a lot tougher to do so without our business on Whatnot UK; they both said.
