The travel company has been criticised for increasing the cost of its monthly pass for schoolchildren from £48 to £60 per month.
One mother-of-two, who asked to remain anonymous, said the company was “taking advantage of struggling families”. The rise in ticket prices comes after schoolchildren were told they could no longer use their “basic” passes, costing £48 a month. Instead, all pupils would need the new Plymouth Schools Ticket, which costs £12 more.
