Things will all start to kick off again before we know it!

|May 16, 2025
IT'S the end of the season for Middlesbrough and while the club's hierarchy are undertaking a thorough review, the players have gone off for their holidays to rest and recuperate for the new campaign.
While there will be a little bit of down time now for almost all club staff, there will still be some key bits of news coming out over the next few weeks.
Things such as summer friendlies as well as the new kit supplier and kits are expected at some point, while we await confirmation of the club's retained list too.
Beyond that, things will really start kicking into gear in June when the transfer window opens, players start to return for pre-season and we have fixture release day to look forward to also.
Here's a list of the key dates that impact Boro this summer.
The start of pre-season
Boro’s first full week of pre-season will begin on Monday, June 30.
As is customary, the players are due back at some point in the week prior to that though where they will undergo the usual start-of-summer fitness and conditioning testing.
It will all be documented on the club’s social media channels and website, and we'll have full coverage in the Gazette too.
