After reviving the old pension scheme, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has come up with more important announcements and decisions to please government employees.
In a meeting under the chairmanship of Gehlot on Tuesday night, the cabinet decided to clear the long-pending demand of slashing the qualifying service period for full pension benefits, promotion, special pay and designation among others.
The cabinet also approved the proposal to amend the Rajasthan Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1996.
