EPSTEIN FILES: US President backs disclosure as Republican rebellion grows
In a dramatic reversal, President Donald Trump on Sunday night urged House Republicans to vote in favour of releasing the Jeffrey Epstein case files an unexpected climbdown that comes amid mounting support for the measure within his own party.
After returning to Joint Base Andrews from a weekend in Florida, Trump posted a fiery message on social media, declaring,
“We have nothing to hide, and it's time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party.”
