Patient bleeds for 2 hrs unattended, dies

An incident of medical negligence has surfaced at RN Cooper Hospital in Vile Parle, where a 52-year-old patient died after suffering a severe head injury from a fall in the bathroom. Despite heavy bleeding and the critical nature of his injuries, the male medical ward doctors did not attend to him for nearly two hours.

According to hospital records, the patient - identified as Prakash Parab - suffered injuries at 4.30am on November 17 after he fell in the bathroom while going for a nature call. However, despite repeated calls from the nursing staff, the ward unit doctors did not arrive to attend to him, raising serious questions about the hospital's emergency response and accountability.
