Cops warned over refusal to reinvestigate missing cash

THE Chief Constable of Police Scotland has been warned she faces a judicial review if the force fails to reinvestigate the “alleged misappropriation of ringfenced political donations” to the SNP.

Blogger Stuart Campbell told Jo Farrell he had taken legal advice from the Dean of the Faculty of Advocates, Roddy Dunlop KC, to back up his argument that there is “new evidence” in the case for detectives to look at.

The SNP raised £667,000 during fundraising drives in 2017 and 2019, with Nicola Sturgeon and others vowing the cash would only be spent on an independence referendum campaign.
