Godolphin land a Classic four-timer in 72 hours

DESERT FLOWER defended her perfect record in the Betfred 1,000 Guineas to deliver Godolphin a fourth Classic two on each side of the Atlantic in less than 72 hours.

"It's unquestionably Godolphin's best weekend," said Hugh Anderson, managing director of Sheikh Mohammed's enterprise as he reflected on the successes of Good Cheer in the Kentucky Oaks and Sovereignty in the Kentucky Godolphin's first in Derby racing the opening leg of the US Triple Crown adding to the Guineas double of Ruling Court and Desert Flower.
