Arrest after teen dies in crash and two injured

AN 18-year-old man has died in a crash in the Black Isle, which left two others seriously injured.

Emergency services were called to the A9 at Culbokie, south of the Cromarty Bridge, around 9.40pm on Monday.

The crash involved a white Ford Transit van and a black Ford Focus.

The teenager died in hospital a short time later.

A woman aged 18 and a 20-year-old man were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A man, aged 50, has been arrested following the incident and released pending further inquiries.
