Cafe to close saying 'It's not goodbye forever, just a pause'

AN Indian cafe will close following the death of the owner - but maybe not forever.

It's nearly four months since Rabinder Samra, known as Rano, died. SuRano, a vegan cafe, initially stayed open as her family said they wanted to fulfil Rano’s dream but it was an emotionally difficult task without her.

The premises will close on Sunday, December 21, but a message on social media revealed it might not be permanent.

Team SuRano posted: “After a lot of thought and consideration we have decided to close the doors of SurRano for now.

“It's not a goodbye forever but just a pause whilst we figure out what the next phase is and to explore the possibility of a new chapter in a new place.”
