North Devon hammered by leaders to remain stuck to the bottom spot

RADNINCH & Kentisbeare hammered North Devon by nine wickets in a one-sided top-against-bottom date at Ken-sham Park.
The Premier Division leaders skit-tled cellar dwellers North Devon for 122, which they knocked-off at express pace inside 16 overs.
There is no change at either end of the table. Bradninch & Kentisbeare have a one-point lead over Paignton at the top; North Devon are 24 points away from safety at the bottom.
North Devon's top-order batting was laid low by B&K left-armer Ross Acton (5-29), who had four of the wickets that had tumbled in a run-ning total of 85 for six. Jon Triner had a couple.
The Instow outfit had been 48 for five before James Tyson (28) and last man out Tom Popham (27) showed some stickability.
Theo Lamey was the only B&K batter to lose his wicket in the 15.4 overs needed to clinch the fifth win of the season.
Andrew Buzza went about his business efficiently at one end for 32 not out. Triner had a more robust approach. He thrashed North Dev-on’s bowlers for nine fours and four sixes on the way to 72 not out from 50 balls.
Braunton skipper Sam Reddick was left to ponder what could have been in the wake of a one-wicket home defeat by B Division front run-ners Plymstock
