SHIMLA: Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday set up a target to develop Himachal Pradesh as a “green state”, financially selfdependent and promote electrical vehicles for reducing environmental pollution.
He also hinted at cutting down wasteful expenditures and ensuring strict financial discipline.
Presiding over the first-day of a two-day session with MLAs to work out priorities on development, Sukhu asked the legislators to dedicate themselves to the development keeping in mind the future challenges.
The proposed plan size of Rs. 9,523.82 crore for the year 2023-24.
