More Filipinos report better quality of life in June 2025 SWS survey

More adult Filipinos saw improvements in their quality of life over the past year, based on the results of the June 2025 Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey released on Sept. 2.
The survey, conducted from June 25 to 29, found that 35 percent of respondents reported an improvement in their quality of life compared to 12 months ago, while 23 percent said it worsened. Forty-two percent reported no change.
SWS defines “gainers” as those who believe their quality of life has improved, “losers” as those who think it has worsened, and “unchanged” as those who say it has stayed the same.
The latest figures translate to a net gainers score of +12 (difference between those who said life improved and those whosaidit got worse), classified by SWS as “very high.”
Itis seven points above the “high” +5 in April 23-28 and “fair” -1in April11-15.
