THE family of a pregnant mum who died in a crash on the M66 have paid a heartfelt tribute to her, describing her as a shining light’.
Frankie Julia Hough, from Chadderton in Oldham, was driving southbound on the motorway, near Bury, at about 3.10pm on Saturday.
She was in the car with her two young sons, nine-year-old Tommy and two-year-old Rocky, and her four-year-old nephew Tobias at the time.
The 38-year-old tragically died in hospital on Monday as a result of her injuries. Tommy and Tobias both remain in hospital in induced comas and are continuing to fight; Frankie’s family said.
Rocky suffered minor injuries and is being looked after by loved ones.
Frankie, described as a fierce mother with a heart of gold; leaves behind her two boys and her partner Calvin.
