Recharged Devils raring to go after a three-day break

SALFORD took the opportunity to relax and recharge during the fortnight's break between Super League fixtures and are raring to go as they travel to the capital to take on London Broncos.

The Red Devils fell to a disappointing 36-24 defeat at Castleford last time out and although they would have preferred to be in Challenge Cup action last weekend, the break was well received by the playing group and coaching staff.

"You're gutted, you'd prefer to have been playing [in the Challenge Cup]," admitted assistant coach Krisnan Inu. "But the upside to it is the break mentally, to see your family and to help you prepare for the Super League" "It's something that the boys needed at this time. We balanced it - we gave our boys three days off, but they knew what they were preparing themselves for.
