PEOPLE living in an apartment block undergoing cladding removal works say they can’t open their balcony doors to cool down as temperatures soar.
The work is being done to make the building safer in the event of a fire.
But residents claim there has been a lack of communication from the property managers and cladding firm, and concerns have been raised over changing deadlines.
Work started last autumn and was scheduled to last for around 11 months. But so far individual deadlines for the work, such as the removal of scaffolding, have slipped.
