CITY look set to be taken down to the wire in the Premier League title race this season by Arsenal.

The two clubs are in a similar position to last season.

However, whereas last year the Gunners fell away at this exact moment as City pushed on to a third successive crown, a run of four straight victories since last month's disappointing 2-0 loss to Aston Villa has shown that Arsenal are capable of taking it all the way to the final day.

Pep Guardiola certainly thinks so. The City manager believes his side have to win all their remaining games as he can't see Arsenal dropping points.

On Arsenal, Guardiola said: "You see the level of consistency since the winter break, the way they're playing.

"It's not the fact that they're winning, it's the way they play, so you smell that they're not going to lose in the games they have left. They're not going to." For all Arsenal's good recent form though, as things stand, City still have the upper hand.
