CURRAN CAN'T SEE MASS DUBS RETIREMENTS

They'll Paul return

PAUL CURRAN reckons that Dublin's veterans will return for yet another tilt at All-Ireland glory.

Despite talk of retirements in the aftermath of their All-Ireland final win over Kerry in July, much of it fuelled by players themselves, increasingly there is a feeling that the exodus may not materialise at all.

And Curran (right), an All-Ireland winner alongside Dessie Farrell in 1995, expects that his former team-mate will see out the last year of his current term with close to a full hand to pick from.

"I don't think it was one last crack," he said of the 2023 campaign when the likes of Jack McCaffrey, Paul Mannion and Stephen Cluxton made surprise returns.

"A lot of them I think will stay on for 2024. Once the lads came back there was a huge push to go and win this one.
