FAMILIES of children with scoliosis refused to meet the Health Minister over the Temple Street hospital scandal - unless the Taoiseach attends.
The Scoliosis Advocacy Network urged Leo Varadkar to respond to their request to discuss orthopaedic surgeries at the facility.
It has emerged an unauthorised spring-type device was inserted into children's backs at the hospital.
