Hull KR try-scorer James Batchelor says his side were ready to deal with Catalans Dragons' physical approach in their Challenge Cup semi-final.

Willie Peters' side prospered 36-12 in Saturday's clash with the French outfit to secure their place at Wembley against Warrington Wolves on June 7.

Catalans, whose boss Steve McNamara was left seething about the referee's control of the contest, seemed intent on riling them early on with a series of off-the-ball skirmishes in the opening encounters.

Tevita Pangai Junior had a running battle with Robins prop Sauaso Sue which even spilled over onto the sidelines after they had both been replaced.
