Indian national abducted by RSF militia in Sudan: Officials

Sudan is in contact with Indian authorities regarding the reported abduction of an Indian national by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia that captured the strategic city of Ely Fasher last month, Sudanese ambassador Mohammed Abdalla Ali Eltom said on Monday.
The envoy sought India’s support as an important player of the world community to cope with the situation arising from recent gains by the RSF, which he described as a “bloodthirsty militia” working as a proxy for foreign powers.
