Adani forays into battery storage biz

THE ADANI GROUP on Tuesday announced plans to set up India’s largest Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) facility with a capacity of 1,126 MW at its renewable energy park in Khavda, Gujarat.
The project, slated for commissioning by March 2026,will involvethe deployment of more than 700 BESS containers and will be among the world’s largest single-location energy storage installations, the group said inan official statement.
