THE lavish wedding of the son of Asia's wealthiest man was beginning today, with Kim Kardashian, Sir Tony Blair and Boris Johnson among hundreds of famous guests.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, both 29, have spent four months celebrating their impending nuptials with a series of extravagant parties.
Their four-day wedding is taking place this weekend in front of 1,200 guests including actors, sports stars and world leaders.However, the estimated celebrations £464 million cost of the - in a country where tens of millions live below the poverty line - has been severely criticised.
Crowds of fans and paparazzi have gathered to welcome guests, which also include Indian prime minister Narendra Modi, former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, wrestling superstar John Cena, actor Jean-Claude Van Damme and Kim Kardashian.
