Police call on family of man who died at Wynberg Stasie

WYNBERG police are investigating a tragic incident after a man died after jumping in front of an oncoming train at Wynberg railway station on Saturday, 29 November.

Provincial police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk said the incident happened around 10.30am when a man, whose identity is still unknown, jumped in front of a train.

Van Wyk said: “He was struck by the train and sustained critical injuries.”
