WHEN Queens Of The Stone Age rocked a mas- sive tomb, frontman Josh Homme was tempted to stay... for ever.

Josh: I felt at Homme in the Paris Catacombs

The band recently released Alive In The Catacombs, recorded in the underground Paris chambers that hold the remains of more than six million people.

The project coincided with a serious illness for Josh, who connected with the macabre setting.

He said: "At one point, everyone left for lunch and I just couldn't get back up the stairs. I couldn't move.

"So I chose to lie down in this dark, blind hallway and I thought, 'Well, there are over six million people here. If I'm ever going to be haunted, now's the time!

"And to be honest, I felt so welcomed. Almost too welcomed.
