SIX million people who normally get a free Covid jab will have to pay for it this winter as deaths and infection rates soar.

Rule changes mean millions of Brits aged 65 to 74 are no longer eligible for the free NHS jab.

It comes as two new strains of the virus - nimbus and stratus - continue to take hold in the UK.
