WHAT PLANET ARE YOU ON?

CELTIC fans are over the moon after watching Brendan Rodgers’ men blast their way to another title.

But Johan Mjallby reckons you would need to be from another planet to have had any doubts it would be lift-off again with the Northern Irishman at the controls.

Rodgers admitted there was a slight atmosphere when he made his re-entry to Parkhead last summer, with some supporters still smarting from his sharp exit in 2019.

The 51-year-old has got the punters back on board, though, and former Hoops hero Mjallby insists he knew the gaffer was going to be out of this world once again.

The big Swede said: “We shouldn’t question at all whether Brendan Rodgers is a good manager or not.

“You’d probably have to live on another planet to think that he wouldn’t be a good choice for Celtic. His track record speaks for itself.

“I was really happy to see him come back, especially with the way he wants his teams to play.

“It was very similar to Ange Postecoglou with the attackminded style.

“Yes, you can pinpoint small differences but it was an easy transition for Celtic to bring Brendan back.

“He wins trophies and that is what he is here for. Brendan is the manager of Celtic and you are supposed to do that.

“He will want to finish the season in style now.

“ The priority was the league but now they have the bonus chance to get another trophy, then kick on for the summer and improve the team even more.”

Rodgers is once again a hero to the masses and he’s out to add to his legacy come Saturday against Rangers.
