JO POTTER made Rangers history yesterday afternoon as she claimed the Scottish Gas Women's Scottish Cup for the first time at Hampden.
The trophy has eluded Rangers in recent years but goals from Rachel McLauchlan and Lizzie Arnot ensured that a tough week for the club finished with a Cup double.
And Potter, who was congratulated by Rangers men's team boss Philippe Clement, chief executive James Bisgrove and chairman John Bennet at Hampden, believes the club are opening the door to serious cultural change in the landscape of Scottish women's football.
The ex-England international said: "Philippe said it was good for him to watch us lift the trophy.
"It was the same with John Bennett. It is so important for the club to have us winning trophies and being here to experience that.
"It means a lot to them and a lot to us that they are in attendance at these big games.
