BROADCASTER Nicky Campbell's revelations about sexual abuse at school prompted hundreds to get in touch - but there was one phone call that stopped him in his tracks.
An old classmate asking him to confirm the identity of "Edgar", the teacher Nicky had witnessed abusing another pupil when he was 10.
When Nicky replied yes, his friend burst into tears and said aside from his wife he had never told anyone about the pervert before.
