NICK MONTGOMERY knows his side 'Hibsed it' - but has made it clear he is the right man to deliver success at Easter Road.
Montgomery's position in the dugout is under intense speculation after a review was launched in the wake of the Leith side failing to make the top six.
Montgomery, who took over from Lee Johnson last September, takes some of the responsibility for the "unacceptable" campaign.
But the former Central Coast Mariners boss also concedes Hibs are still plagued by a culture of failure that they are mocked about by opposing fans.
He said: "There is an element of fear from the players in the club that's maybe gone on for a couple of years and that is something we have to work really hard at moving forward to make sure we can get ahead of that.
"That's something that takes time to change. There is a stigma around the club.
"Everyone knows 'Hibsed it' and the sayings that go with it. That's been around long before I came to the club.
