OVERJOYED Ant McPartlin was on "cloud nine" last night after the birth of his son Wilder.
The much-loved presenter, one-half of ITV duo Ant and Dec, had spoken of wanting to have children for years.
His dream finally came true yesterday when wife Anne-Marie gave birth to Wilder Patrick McPartlin at 8.54am.
Ant, 48, confirmed the news with a picture of himself cradling the baby as he showed off a family tree tattoo.
He wrote: "Welcome to the family Wilder Patrick McPartlin. Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad's a mess!"
Anne-Marie, 46, who he wed in 2021, is represented in his tattoo as "Amzie", with teenage stepdaughters Poppy and Daisy, and pet dogs Bumble and Milo.
