But the hard-running forward, of course, follows in the footsteps of his famous father Joe.

Vagana Senior won three Grand Finals, a Challenge Cup and three World Club Challenges when Bulls ruled the sport in the early 2000s.

Along with fellow props Brian McDermott, Stuart Fielden and Paul Anderson, the ex-Kiwis international was a crucial part of a fearsome pack.

Vagana (below), 24, recalled: "I was six months old when we first moved over here.
