Ratchford had horrific injuries... but he's not the retiring type

WARRINGTON veteran Stefan Ratchford contemplated retiring before this season kicked off but is now planning to make history in Las Vegas.

The decorated ex-England player turns 37 in the summer.

Before signing a new 12month deal last July, he revealed he wondered if enough was enough.

Then, when Ratchford copped a horrendous facial injury just days later, suffering 11 fractures and being unable to eat solids for a month, you would think he would want to tear up the contract.
