Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley ended her long-shot challenge to Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump on Wednesday, ensuring the former president will be the party's candidate in a rematch with Democratic President Joe Biden in November's election.
Both Biden and Trump prevailed in almost every Super Tuesday nominating contest, including victories in Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee and Utah that demonstrate their respective holds over their political parties.
"They call it Super Tuesday for a reason," Trump told his supporters at a watch party at his Mar-a-Lago private club in Palm Beach, Florida. "They tell me, the been one like this, has never been anything pundits and otherwise, that there's never so conclusive."
