Use your imagination
We tend to discard our imagination as we grow up, but looking back to the books and stories that had a lasting impact on us can reconnect us with the magic and wonder of childhood. 'As a child, I didn't have much time for princesses in stories, but I always adored the character of the wise and sometimes slightly dangerous - woman in the woods,' says Sharon Blackie. 'She had the deep vision that comes from solitude, and reminds me that no matter how old we grow, there's always something new to become. It's entirely possible to look older but still have the fire and passion that we associate with youth.'
