Her picture-perfect feed – sprinkled with sunkissed selfies, editorial shoots, and red carpet looks – shows us that Nidhi Sunil has it all. Today, she is not only one of the leading models and a philanthropist but is also the first-ever model to be associated with L’Oréal Paris as its global ambassador. Sunil has lived every stereotype – from being bullied for her dusky skin tone when she was younger, having faced colourism first-hand, to the lack of representation growing up. When asked about what makes it all worth it? She says, “It makes a huge difference to be able to promote a message that makes people believe in their self-worth, as opposed to making people feel horrible about themselves.” Here, she talks to Grazia about what the real world looks like and how she wants to help people find their place.
